Meet Cristine Steele, LMFT, PMH-C, DARTT

I help women reconnect to their whole self.

With nearly a decade of experience supporting moms, I wholeheartedly believe motherhood shouldn't mean losing yourself.

I’m here to help you embrace your whole self—not just the "good mom" parts. We’ll work to regulate your nervous system, set boundaries without guilt, and reclaim pleasure, intimacy, and professional identity that often get buried under everyone else’s needs.

I lead with specialized maternal mental health training (PMH-C), but I’m a mom of three and show up with a real-world understanding of how hard motherhood can be…even when you’re trying to do your best!

I can’t wait to help you rediscover the wholeness within!

My background

Everyone makes sense in the context of their own story.

    • Somatic (body-based)

Cristine was key in my healing journey, learning to love myself, and become a better me through some big life changes... and I will never forget it. She uses trauma healing modalities that will help you get unstuck in your life and relationships.

My Core Values:

authenticity:

I lead with authenticity.

I’m not the therapist for everyone, and I’m okay with that.

When I’m the right fit, we do good work together. I value genuine connections with my clients, as the therapeutic relationship is the KEY ingredient to your progress.

compassion:

I personally & professionally know how hard life can be. You’ve experienced enough people putting expectations on you, possibly abuse, neglect or trauma.

I invite you to trust that I can bring compassion for you without an agenda.

safety:

With a felt sense of safety, your nervous system will allow you to do deeper work.

You’ll learn to listen to your own inner knowing regarding what you need in order to access a felt sense of safety with me.

You’ll also learn how to ask for what you need in and out of session.

empowerment:

I never tell clients what to do.

Likely, you’ve been put in a box or told what to do for a long time. Working with me means that you will slowly learn to trust your own gut, your own intuition. You’ll reconnect with yourself and learn to live comfortably outside the box.

Cristine Steele is registered with the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Addiction Counselors, and Psycho-Educational Specialists as a Telehealth Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, License Number TLC.2398.MFT.

You’ve carried this alone for long enough.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before we talk. You just need to know that things can feel different. Let’s spend 15 minutes together to see if this feels like the right space for you to stop holding it all together, all the time.
