Sex Therapy for Couples in West Seattle
Couples sex therapy for desire discrepancy, low libido, and reconnection after kids. Short-term, body-aware, and non-judgmental.
REDEFINING INTIMACY
I work with couples and other relationship structures that want more honesty, more ease, and more connection. This includes long-term partners who want to reawaken intimacy, people exploring open relationships, and individuals or partners healing from sexual trauma.
You’re allowed to slow down and speak up for what you need.
Sex is rarely just about sex. It’s where attachment, stress, bodies, and old stories all show up at once. If you’re a stable, committed couple who’ve drifted from each other physically, working with me can help.
WHAT YOU MIGHT BE NOTICING —
Fading desire in a long-term relationship or through the demanding parenting years
A painful desire discrepancy, where one of you feels unwanted and the other feels pressured
Changing bodies as you age, and what that does to pleasure, confidence, and connection
Open or non-monogamous relationships that need clearer boundaries, jealousy work, or more honest sharing
Difficulty voicing what you want, or knowing what that even is
How I can help
Therapy can help you reconnect within your most intimate relationships.
These patterns show up because relationships are where our deepest parts (attachment wounds, inner child needs, somatic memories) meet daily life. My work slows the rush so you can get curious: What does my body actually want right now? How do past experiences shape my “yes” or “no”?
We use experiential tools like parts work and mindful somatic tracking to find the answers, then build a blueprint for communicating preferences clearly and kindly.
This isn’t endless couples therapy. Sessions run 90 minutes or 3 hours (or multi-day intensives for concentrated work), blending attachment theory with body-based work so you’re not just talking, you’re rewiring for more ease, honesty, and aliveness together.
Who this is for
Couples who feel secure and want to reconnect, and who are willing to be curious with each other. Open and non-traditional partners are warmly welcome.
Who this is not for
Couples dealing with ongoing betrayal, addiction, or abuse. If you’re healing from sexual trauma, I’d start with individual work.
Here’s what we’ll do together
Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself & others in ways you long for, but haven’t had the space for.
My approach is inclusive, non-judgmental and rooted in the belief that every person in a relationship has needs, preferences, and a body with its own pace. We slow the process of intimacy down so you can get curious, (re)discover your own wants / needs, communicate more clearly, and move toward one another with less pressure and more choice. This work may include desire, aging, pleasure, touch, repair, and the stories each person carries about sex and closeness.

Frequently asked questions —
-
Traditional couples therapy is usually open ended, 50 minute sessions. I offer warm, relational sessions (90-minute or 3-hour sessions) blending Brainspotting, somatic work, and Passion and Presence® principles. We slow down intimacy to access your body’s wisdom—prioritizing goal-free exploration over performance—so you can create an authentic connection that actually integrates into your busy life.
-
It’s built for you. This work suits couples who feel safe and respected with each other and want more closeness. You don’t need to be on the brink for this to be worth doing.
-
Aging bodies and the demands of parenting naturally shift our pleasure pathways. Together, we explore sensation, fantasies, and gentle repair. Using Passion and Presence® tools, we will study your unique "erotic blueprint," building confidence and a physical connection that beautifully evolves alongside your life.
-
Yes. A desire discrepancy hurts both people: one feels unwanted, the other feels pressured. Neither of you is broken, and you don’t have to meet in the middle by force. We work on what’s underneath the gap so you can move toward each other with more choice and less pressure.
-
Yes, warmly. I work with consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, and other non-traditional structures. The focus is on clear agreements, jealousy, and honest communication, with no assumption that any structure is better than another.
-
This is a Passion and Presence® term for the anxiety-driven striving (like focusing strictly on orgasms or frequency goals) that ultimately kills presence and connection. We interrupt this cycle by slowing down, sensing your body, and sharing vulnerably—unlocking a much more authentic flow of intimacy through play and attunement.
-
No physical touch occurs during our sessions. Instead, your "homework" between sessions will include low-pressure somatic exercises, sensual mapping, and partnered attunement practices. Everything we do is designed to build presence and consent, and is tailored entirely to your comfort level and boundaries.
-
It depends on what you’re working on and how much time you can give it. Longer sessions often move things faster than a weekly hour, and many couples feel a shift early on. Most clients begin to notice shifts after 3 to 6 sessions (90 minutes each). While sustainable desire and open communication build over time, you will walk away with practical tools to apply the work we cover in between our meetings so you can start experiencing momentum right away.
-
Clients typically report more ease in moving toward each other, clearer communication of their needs, reignited pleasure, and reduced nervous system triggers. Most importantly, partners describe sex and intimacy as feeling connective and chosen again, rather than obligatory.
-
This work isn’t the right fit for those situations, and I’d rather say so than offer you less than you need. If you’re reeling from a recent discovery, I can support either of you individually and refer you to a colleague for couples work.
